Twit a load of this:
- Got a sunburn? Mix a little cucumber juice and white wine together and spread on the toasty area. Enjoy the cooling sensation!
- When you’ve knocked your leg silly on the table edge and find yourself with an unsightly, painful bruise – rub an onion on it! It helps lighten the bruise and quells some of the pain.
- Ew. Dandruff. Pour some white or apple cider vinegar on that mess, scrub it in to your scalp and let it sit for 20 minutes. Dandruff gone.
- Achoo! Allergies are the worst. One tablespoon a day of local honey, down your gullet, will take the edge off those sneezes and watery eyes.
Fun stuff right? I have a million of these, and they’ll be on Twitter every single day for the rest of your life (or until I get bored).
Just click on this little birdie, and you’ll be fixing your life one home remedy at a time:
And for those of you who haven’t stepped into the Twitter limelight, once in a while (and most likely on Saturdays), I will do my very best to highlight the best quick tips and post them here. But I really think you should do the Twitter thing. Really, you should.
Tweet you soon!

Well where the hell were you when I was landscaping for a living?
My legs were an unholy mess of black and purple bruises. LOL!
An onion! huh. Who’da thunk.
PS – I’ve lost the link to the ‘other place’, and don’t see one here anywhere. Help! 🙁
Crunchy Betty
I’m sure you’ve heard the raw meat bruise fix, too, right? That just icks me out, though.
And I’m guessing you’re taking about “crunchwise,” which I unlinked for now, since I’m so obsessed with this at the moment, I don’t even have time to think about something else to write. Plus, I’m still thinking with the new blog design (yay!) that I’ll do a magazine-type thing where I can go ahead and have separate categories around these parts without having all the stuff gooped in together. But, for your record, it’s http://crunchwise.wordpress.com.

I think that’s the way to go 😉
